Our journey of compassion
Transmara Sugar SACCO began in February 2013 as an informal group of Transmara Sugar Company employees united by a common goal: financial empowerment through savings and credit facilities. With hard work, dedication, and the trust of our members, we officially registered under the Co-operative Societies Act (CS/15011) and have grown steadily ever since.
From just a few members, we have expanded to over 1,400 active participants, with savings exceeding Kshs. 132 million and a loan portfolio of over Kshs. 140 million. We take pride in being a cooperative that not only meets members' financial needs but also fosters community growth and development
