I am a Transmara Sugar Company Sacco member and I applied for a loan to develop some sugar cane fields as a project and got the money in a short period of time and managed to carry out the project hence the Sacco is making us meet our goals.

A long term member of Transmara sugar company sacco. As pioneer member I would love to encourage my colleagues who have not joined the society to do so because as an individual my SACCO has really transformed my life. My children are in Various institutions of learning courtesy of SACCO Have managed to put up a home and various property thanks to various products that are available and affordable in our SACCO I believe in the current leadership Together we can make it far and better. Transmara Sugar Savings and Credit Co-operative society has gone through tremendous growth and progress since its inception.membership has steadily increased just like the members savings. The Sacco has continuously offered members timely financial assistance in an era where financial stability and growth are paramount. I Geoffrey Anudo has been a member of Transma Sugar Sacco since 2013 when the Sacco was barely two years old. It has been a long journey to date. I have seen the Sacco grow from scratch to what it is now, that is from member population of less than 400 to 1000 plus. From a few loans facilities to a wide range of loan facilities to choose from based on members ability. From loan processing period of one month to five working days and below.Enhanced communication to members through WhatsApp platforms, alert messages to members on loan process among many others. We members have also been taken through trainings that have been vital in improving our understanding concerning Saccos operations. These have been achieved thanks to the management board members plus the Sacco staffs who have worked tirelessly around the clock for all the years. During my stay in Transmara Sugar Sacco as a member, I personally have seen the Sacco as beneficial to me in a number of ways as listed below:- 1. It has helped me make some good savings. 2. It has offered me loans that has seen me through some development projects and also take care of my urgent financial needs through short term loans. 3. Members are also able to acquire items loans, this has made it easy for members to own things like phones even when they have no ready cash for the purchase. Transmara Sacco has helped its members to cultivate a savings habit and investment culture and has allowed us to borrow loans as per our needs.
